I only have myself to blame for choosing a fabric with a gaudy design. Well, I guess it's still a good sewing practice for me, considering that each yard of the fabric was only 2AUD.
Will I wear it out? You can dare me to do it. I think I probably will do it at least once or twice before I start feeling awkward about it.
This is the vintage sewing pattern that I used to make the dress. Perhaps I would look better in the dress if I were still a tween!

Oh, and before I forget, this is a pattern that I bought from the local Vinnies in Sydney. I got it for just 50 cents! :)
Note: I know I promised a crafting TUTORIAL, but the item that I made is missing. It's a brooch or some sort that I made for my mum. My mum has no idea where that thing is right now. This is not the first time that something like this has happened. I am not very pleased...
But it's really just manicure.
Note: Please do not follow my blog if you ONLY like the nail art posts because I don't do nail art very often!
Another craft post on Sunday! It's NOT going to be nail art.
Yes, I am still alive. I haven't been doing much knitting and other crafting lately.
However, I have this recent new obsession with nail art! It all started when I had a sleepover at my friend's and we played with nail polish and nail stickers. The moment that nail sticker was laid on my nail, something in my brain went 'click'. Before I knew it, I have been playing around with different nail designs.
This is the Neo Leopard Print design that I did a week ago. It's really easy to do with this great tutorial here. My friends were not impressed because they felt that I should have used the original colours: brown and beige. But I still like it anyway. :)
Oh, I didn't do it for all my nails because I got lazy after doing 4 of them. I thought this looks good enough to me too. And as you can tell from the pictures above, I am not very neat when painting my nails.
