DIY Inspiration: Neon Knitwear

I have to say that this is the brightest idea ever. Literally. 


Actually, the idea to make a knitted neon jumper came to me when I saw a local shop selling (cheap) neon green yarn. I don't think I've ever come across neon yarn before! Since I've been looking for a neon jumper, why not knit one myself?

This knitted jumper from Topshop is the ideal shape and design that I want for my jumper. I shall start sourcing for a good pattern for knitting my neon jumper.


And yes, I use cheap yarn.

Chocolate cake

Here's the chocolate felt cake that I made for a friend's birthday recently. It's similar to the strawberry felt cake that I made some time ago for another friend of mine.

Complete with whipped cream, a slice of banana, wafers, and even a cherry on top

My friend just posted a picture of a lovely durian cake on Facebook. It's really making crave for some cake. I think I'd like to have a slice of cheesecake now.

DIY: Polka Dot Nails

I was instantly inspired when I saw this tutorial here a few days ago. This DIY nail design is so easy to do! My polka dots are rather large as I used a plastic knitting needles... That was the nearest thing to me when I wanted to get the 'dotting' done. 


By the way, how lovely is that shade of robin egg blue?
