Let us eat cake

Chocolate cake
Here's the chocolate felt cake that I made for a friend's birthday recently. It's similar to the strawberry felt cake that I made some time ago for another friend of mine.

Work in progress
Complete with whipped cream, a slice of banana, wafers, and even a cherry on top

My friend just posted a picture of a lovely durian cake on Facebook. It's really making crave for some cake. I think I'd like to have a slice of cheesecake now.

Oh look, here's a picture of cupcakes that my friend bought me for my birthday in March. :)

*end of incoherent thoughts

WIP: Panda Hat

I started this on a whim and obviously did not think the pattern through. You can't see it but it's a real mess on the wrong side of the work because I didn't think about whether to use fair isle or intarsia knitting. This is also the very first time that I'm using double-pointed needles!!!

I started this last weekend and haven't been working on it since I took this picture. Uni work is consuming me at the moment! Hope to finish this soon so that I can write up the proper pattern and share it with everyone. *GASP yes, I came up with the pattern on my own! :D

That's all for now! I need to get back to uni work!

Cute (and cheap) ear studs

Bought these cute plastic charms at Mix & Match. They only cost 4 for S$1! Glued them to metal ear studs and tadaa!
