It's golden

I had dinner with some friends on Saturday. It was to celebrate her 21st birthday... which occurred a month ago!  I said that I would knit a hat for her, but I have not even casted it on! I told her, "either I'm a very bad friend, or I'm a lazy arse." Hopefully, I'll start the hat very very soon! >_<

Anyway, this is what I wore to the dinner. I think the weather is turning warmer. I didn't even have to wear a coat. :) The baggy sweater that I wore is 2 sizes too big, but I like the oversized look. I feel like I can wear it over almost anything and everything. I was actually wearing it over a dress in these pictures! Also, you probably can't see it from the photos, but it's a sweater with gold, glittery fibres. I had to edit these photos because the lighting of the original photos were awful. >_<

Top (Oversized golden sweater): $10, random shop in Sydney
Bottom (Beige floral dress): Valleygirl
Tights (Grey knitted tights): Sportsgirl
Shoes (Doc Martens Wannabe): Rubi shoes

And here are just some photos from the day.

That's all for now! Hope you all had a great weekend. I'm all ready to start my second week of uni tomorrow! I've got a couple of DIY posts coming up, so stay tuned! :)

Photo: Any Road

Any Road

There was a period of time when I was really inspired by this song. Go listen to the song if you've lost your direction in life. It doesn't give any answers, but it can sure make you feel better with its upbeat tune. (^_^)

This is where I make my stuff

♥♥♥

I really LOVE this icon that I made last night. The colours, the faded vintage effect, the rounded edges, the cutest font ever... I could stare at this the whole day. (Hint: follow the links to try to create the same effect!)

Ok, sorry if I sound crazy, but this is the first time that I have made something like this! This is the first time that I am making something this fancy for my blog. My blog finally got a lot more serious!

Hologram sticker brought out the star in us

Can see the stars all over our delightful faces?
Gahhhhhhh! I was so excited over my recent lovely find from Daiso - hologram sticker!!!
I found 2 designs in the shop, heart and stars. There are 5 sheets in each packet and I think each sheet measures about the size of a 4R picture.

Once I got home, I immediately measured the length and breadth of my polaroid picture, cut out the measurements from the hologram sticker and then stuck them on! The only mistake that I made was to use a rule to smoothen out the bubbles between the hologram sticker and the photo. It made the sticker full of scratches. :(

Nevertheless, I'm still happy about the final result!

This craft punch is smiling...

There it was, smiling at me in the shop. I couldn't resist, I had to get it. And it only cost S$2! Yesssss, it's from Daiso again! (^_^)

I thought it would be strong enough for a photograph as what was stated in the packaging. I thought a polaroid would equate a photograph...

But it was sharp enough for my polaroid :(. And so I'm left with only a slight indent of a smiling face at the bottom right hand corner of the polaroid. Hmmm... Fortunately it didn't look too bad!
